Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument
This National Park Service website offers descriptions of: the animal fossils found at this park, including the extinct Hagerman horse; the geology of the park which is mostly floodplain sediments of primarily silty clays; and the geological, hydrological, and hydrostratigraphical aspects of a landslide model.
