The Department of Geology and Geography at Georgia Southern University has an opening for a temporary (one-year) full-time replacement at the assistant professor level. This person will teach an introductory level oceanography course and share responsibility for teaching environmental geology. Colorado River Watch is recruiting new volunteers to monitor water quality and other indicators of watershed health for Colorado waters. Volunteers must make a several year commitment to the program and be willing to sample at a designated station monthly for metals, nutrients and other parameters.
