Nominations are being accepted for math and science teachers in Grades 3, 4 and 5 to attend the 2009 Mickelson ExxonMobil Teachers Academy. Students from these grades can nominate teachers or teachers may self-nominate to attend the all-expense paid trip to this professional development program. Colorado River Watch is recruiting new volunteers to monitor water quality and other indicators of watershed health for Colorado waters. Volunteers must make a several year commitment to the program and be willing to sample at a designated station monthly for metals, nutrients and other parameters.
